THESAURUS OF INDONESIAN ISLAMIC MANUSCRIPTS (T2IM)

Center for Research and Development of Religious Literatures
(Puslitbang Lektur Keagamaan, Badan Litbang dan Diklat),
Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs (MORA)

and Center for the Study of Islam and Society (PPIM UIN Jakarta)

in collaboration with the Indonesian Association for Nusantara Manuscripts (Manassa)

Directed by Dr. Oman Fathurahman

The main goal of the T2IM is to bring together all information related to the Indonesian Islamic manuscripts in Arabic and local languages, such as Javanese, Malay, Sundanese, and others preserved in a number of libraries and other places in Indonesia, in particular, and around the globe, in general.

The T2IM will be a vital resource for philologists, historians, and other specialists of the region. It provides numerous data on Indonesian Islamic manuscripts filtered by various criteria such as title, author, subject matter, language, script, collection, and catalogue. This thesaurus may also be a useful tool for those who wish to know or seek for more information on any research on the subjects and the works listed.

This site is under construction, and will be accessible in the early 2010
